Ottawa's Rideau Inn, c1916, an Edwardian era home, has operated since December 2001 providing comfortable, clean and economical accommodations in elegant surroundings at a superb location close to all downtown Ottawa has to offer. We are situated in the leafy residential neighbourhood known as the “Golden Triangle” bound by lively Elgin St. and a bend in the Rideau Canal. From our shady, front verandah we have a sunny, south view to the wading pool, basket ball court and free tennis courts of St. Lukes Park across the street.. Our peaceful neighbourhood is just a short walk from the capital’s bustle and numerous fine restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs found on nearby Elgin Street. A little further is the Museum of Nature, National Gallery, National Arts Centre, Rideau Centre shopping Mall, Byward market and more.
