The Big Otter Marina & Campground was originally a Ministry of Natural Resource Bird Sanctuary. Surrounded by wildlife; Deer, Raccoons, Ducks, Blue Herons, Loons, Egrets and of course Seagulls are common sights. On the lake, just five minutes by boat, fishermen can enjoy some of the best Pickerel and Rainbow Trout fishing available in the Lake Erie basin. For those who would rather eat them than fish for them, a walk downtown to the local restaurants will provide you with all the fresh fish you can eat.
